This is offered for dogs that have an obedience background. Owner participation required.

Temperament Rehabilitation

For more severe behavior problems, we provide in-home counseling services and work with you and your dog in your own home. During these sessions, you will get the information and experience needed to solve your most severe problems. Most unwanted behaviors are resolved in only a few sessions.

Aggressive Dogs

Aggressive dogs are a serious hazard to both owners and society. This is not normal balanced behavior for a dog and is something that every dog owner should know how to address calmly and safely. This is behavior that Desert Dogs Unleashed has extensive experience with and can show you how to overcome your dog's dangerous and unwanted agression.

Fearful and Anxious Dogs

Fearful and anxious dogs are just as dangerous to others and to themselves as an aggressive dog. Most dogs with this behavior will show signs of aggression in one form or another. The remainder are always in an awful state of mind that is very unhealthy, they become a hazard to themselves with the threat of running away or hiding in a dangerous place where they could get hurt or even killed. Just imagine being nervous all the time, that feeling you have in your gut. This is very exhausting and can lead to premature health issues as well as an unhappy life. It's the same with your dog. You can not tell your dog that they do not need to be afraid of something simply because you said so. You must know how to let them handle the stress in a constructive manner that is going to make them feel safe, happy, and healthy. Avoiding stress only reinforces fear and negative behavior. Who wants their dog to feel this way for the rest of their lives?
