Pre-requisite: Approval of Instructor upon graduation of Basic Obedience.

This training course begins with scent discrimination activities, hunting fundamentals and basic search and rescue techniques. Training continues on to intermediate and advanced levels of Wilderness Air Scent, Wilderness and Urban Training, Human Remains Detection as well as hands-on experience in team radio communication, GPS and compass training, map orienteering and basic survival skills.

This on-going training course meets once a week and is open for approved Training Club Members only.

*The Advanced K9 Care Seminar is highly recommended for teams in training and certified Search and Rescue (SAR) teams.
