Advanced K9 Care Seminar

This three (3) hour in-depth K9 1st Aid seminar covers establishing and documenting wellness assessment medical norms (resting and active pulse, resting and active respiration rate, capillary response and basal temperature) for each individual dog attending this class. Topics addressed include K9 CPR, rescue breathing, injury assessment, management of shock, heat stroke, bleeding and poisons.

Class venue includes in-depth lecture, demonstrations and hands-on-practice in CPR, bandaging, containing a frightened or injured dog and basic grooming needs. The comprehensive course is specific for outdoor, athletic and working dog teams.

Fee: $40.00 and includes an informative 30+ page reference book and a basic K9 1st aid kit. Pre-registration is required.
