Basic Agility

Pre-requisite: completion of Basic Obedience class or approved foundation in basic obedience with the handler.

This eight (8) week course incorporates obedience commands with basic agility equipment. Place boards, tunnels, small jumps, balance beams and teeter-totters are introduced with appropriate instructions of engagement, placement and dismount for each piece of equipment. Additional obedience commands include: Face, Up, Over, Under, Around, Thru, Wait, Place and Focus. Handlers are required to acquire (purchase or make) basic agility equipment (2 place boards and another apparatus (beams, teeter-totter, jumps, tunnel, etc) to use for daily training at home. Two separate classes meet once per week. Fee: $105 unless a Training Club Member.

     

Advanced Agility

Pre-requisite: Approval of Instructor after completion of Basic Agility course

This fun-filled ongoing course emphasizes off-lead agility fundamentals with increased distances, distractions and timed trial runs. Additional equipment and commands are incorporated with various indoor/outdoor locations.

This on-going training course meets once a week and is open for approved Training Club Members only.
